The Bewildered Christian: What Am I to Do?

Do you feel too busy, confused, fearful, lazy or even helpless when trying to decide how to serve others? The enemy would have us believe that one person can do nothing. But our Lord and Savior Jesus knows that you're only one person. He tells us in Phil. 4:13 that "I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me." Did you know that helping or serving others may be as simple as telling a co-worker or someone in the supermarket line about the goodness of Jesus. It may be volunteering 15 minutes a week to read a scripture to the sick or elderly. As children of God, we are His representatives on the earth and whatever we do in His name will make a difference in someone's life (Colossian 3:17). God has created each of us unique with specific gifts to be used in doing his work (Rom. 12:6-8). So, if you find yourself in a quandary wondering, "what am I to do?", simply pray and ask God to guide you.
