Remedy for a World in Chaos

As we look around our world today, there appears to be confusion and chaos at every turn. News reports, T.V. programs and daily life reflect a society filled with all kinds of evil - immorality, lawlessness, political corruption, greed, hatred and terrorism to name a few. Many are fearful, weary and troubled by the condition of our world and see it as a hopeless situation. However, no matter how bleak and gloomy things appear, there is hope for the world. That hope is Jesus! Jesus is the remedy for a world in chaos.

Helen Howarth Lemmel, in her song, "Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus," plainly states the remedy for those living in chaos. It is a soothing reminder for the believer, and a wonderful message for the non-believer.

O soul are you weary and troubled? No light in the darkness you see? There's light for a look at the Savior, and life more abundant and free! Turn your eyes upon Jesus. Look full in His wonderful face, and the things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace. Through death into life everlasting, he passed and we follow Him there; Over us sin no more hath dominion for more than conquerors we are. Turn your eyes upon Jesus.
