He Created It All
One morning a telemarketer called my home hoping to sale car insurance. Since I was not in need of car insurance nor had I contacted him, I decided that this was a perfect opportunity for me to witness. So, I asked the man if he had a relationship with the Lord Jesus as his Savior. Startled at such a question, the man who appeared to be atheist, asked me to repeat my question. Again, I asked him if he had a relationship with the Lord Jesus as his Savior. Quickly the man became agitated and insisted that I did not know my science. He went on to explain to me that homosapiens (humans) existed and walked the earth hundreds and thousands of years ago. I told him that the Lord created homosapiens (humans). God said, Let us make man in our image; So God created man in his own image (Genesis 1:26-27). The Lord formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and the man became a living being (Genesis 2:7). The caller then raised his voice and yelled at me, "ma' am you don't know your science." "Mankind originated in Ethiopia!," he said. I then told him that the Lord created Ethiopia. And God said, " Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place and let dry ground appear," and it was so. God called the dry ground land (Genesis 1:9-10). As for where mankind originated, "Now the Lord God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden and there he put the man he had formed "(Genesis 2:8). Finally, becoming very agitated, the caller yelled out, "ma'am you believe in Santa Claus, shamrocks and fairy tales." Calmly I told the caller, " I believe that the Lord Created It All." The caller abruptly hung up. Scripture tells us that in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1:1). God saw all that He had made and it was very good (Genesis 1:31).
