The Peace of Christmas

Why the Peace of Christmas? Christmas marks the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Before His birth we were lost in our sins. We were doomed to go throughout eternity totally separated from God. But thanks be to God, who loved us so much, that He sent His one and only Son so that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16). With the birth of Christ, God and sinners would now be reconciled (Rom. 5:10-11). Worry and fear over our eternity would be replaced by God's mercy, giving us peace and joy! Therefore, the Peace of Christmas is knowing that the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ brings mercy and salvation to all who believe in Him!
