Write Down Your Vision

Did you make a New Year's resolution for your dreams and goals this year? If so, were they the typical goals of losing weight, starting/returning to school, eating healthy, starting a business or better financial management? All are good goals, but how successful are we at keeping or accomplishing them. God gives each of us dreams and desires in our hearts. Some are small and easily accomplished, others big appearing impossible to accomplish. However, when God gives us a dream and a vision, it is possible to accomplish no matter the size.

Scripture says, "With God all things are possible," Matthew 19:26. God is the key to all our success. We are reminded to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well, Matthew 6:33. God will also establish the work of those who commit their work to Him, Proverb 16:3.

God gives us instructions in His word on how to accomplish our dreams. Habakkuk 2:2-3 states, " Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it; For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false; Though it linger wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay." So, if you want your dreams and goals to succeed, follow God's word. Write them down and make it plain so a herald may run with it. Create a Vision Board with words and pictures highlighting dreams and goals you are desiring to accomplish. Many famous and successful people have used vision boards. Some such as Steve Harvey, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Will Smith, Oprah Winfrey, Kevin Hart, Beyonce, Jim Carrey, Ellen Degeneres and more have seen their dreams come true. This is a godly principle that requires standing on God's promises to see your dreams and goals come to fruition. Scripture says, what we think about we become, Proverbs 23:7. Stay in faith, keep the vision before you daily and verbalize it. Remember, God gives those who depend on Him strength to do all things, Philippians 4:13.
