It is Finished

When sin entered into the world in the Garden of Eden, mankind's relationship with God was broken. We were lost without hope. Then God sent his son Jesus as a sacrifice to die on the cross for our sins. Jesus was obedient to his Father. He lived a perfect life on earth doing all his Father had given him to do. His message to the world, "I am the resurrection and the life, Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying " (John 11:25).

After Jesus had accomplished his assignment, his last words on the cross were , "It is finished". With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit (John 19:30). After 3 days in the grave Jesus rose. Jesus had paid our debt to sin in full. Jesus opened the way for man's restoration with God through faith in him.
