All the Right Tools

Before anyone begins a new building project, he must have all the right tools. Likewise, as we begin a new year, we should start with all the right tools. People are ready to leave all the chaos, pain, heartbreak, loss, bitterness, injustices and turbulence of 2020 behind! They are ready to return to some form of normalcy.

Unfortunately, because we live in a fallen world, our lives and circumstances will not always be perfect or normal. Sadly, many people lack the proper tools to cope and deal with many of the difficulties of life. However, because of God’s grace, He has given us “all the right tools” we need to live our lives on a daily basis.

As Christians, He has prepared us for this life in His word. John 16:33 says, “I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace.” “In this world you will have trouble.” So, God has prepared us by giving us His tools for living our daily lives.

· His word to know Him as the one true God, know His Son, how to live and to share with others.

· His Son for our salvation and hope.

· His Holy Spirit to teach, guide, counsel and comfort us.

· His gifts and talents for His glory and for our good.

Finally, we are reminded that in all circumstances, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us, Romans 8:37. With “all of God’s tools,” we can be brave in all things because He has already defeated the world!
