The True Spirit of Christmas

The Christmas season is here again. It’s the time everyone looks forward to for twelve long months. It truly is the most wonderful time of the year! It’s the season that embraces a special spirit, called the Spirit of Christmas!
The Spirit of Christmas can mean different things to different people. The primary focus of the secular world’s Spirit of Christmas includes commercial gift-giving, decorated trees and twinkling lights. Many of us enjoy and participate in these fun traditions. However, for Christians, the birth of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior highlights the true Spirit of Christmas. We know that this is the real “reason for the season.”
A quote by David Jeremiah says, “All the Christmas presents in the world are worth nothing without the presence of Christ.”
In this month’s Podcast we focus on spiritual quotes that emphasizes the feeling of love, peace, joy, hope, charity, selfless giving and kindness. These are the characteristics found in Jesus that reflects God’s love for us. It is a love so great that God sent His Son as our Savior. It is His love that reflects the “True Spirit of Christmas!
